St Helens Firework Display
Kick Provide full production to Spark in the park firework display
biggest ever success. The Spark in the Park firework display
at Sherdley Park, St. Helens was one of the most successful
ever attracting a huge crowd.
Police estimate that around 23,000 people flocked to the park to enjoy a great night of fun and
entertainment on a crisp Bonfire Night. Organised by St. Helens Council, and supported by 102.4 Wish FM, the packed programme included performances from recent MTV stars Totally Boyband including a rendition of S-Club 7's 'Don't Stop Movin', recent X-Factor contestant Sean Rogerson with his version of 'You've got a Friend', plus performances from Cherry Blackstone, 4L, Honey Couture, Diamond Life, Lee Broderick and Driverside.
Harold Wilson Statue Unveiling
TONY Blair unveiled a statue of Harold Wilson on 23rd September
and paid tribute to him as "the first modern prime minister".
Blair and his wife Cherie unveiled the bronze statue at a civic building in Wilson's former constituency of Huyton, Merseyside. He was met by Wilson's widow, Lady Mary Wilson, and their son Robin.
Kick Provided the Production Services
KMBC Celebration of Achievement
Kick supplied the staging set, along with the full production
for an awards evening held at Philharmonic Hall. The two shows
Knowsley Councils - Celebration of Achievement. The event in
in recognition of children's success whilst in education. This
is the 4th consecutive year Kick have supplied the production
to the annual event.
St. Helens Show
On Sunday 30th July Kick supplied Full Production for 'After
The X-Factor Party' with special guests from the last two series.
Artists included Steve Brookstein, Maria Lawson, Tabby and Chenai.
They were joined by Big Brovaz and Blazin Squad.
Matt Willis (formerly of 'Busted') headlined the show this year which was held in Sherdley Park, St Helens.
National Student Union Convention (NUSSL)
The Adelphi Hotel was again the venue for NUSSL annual conference
whilst all production was supplied by Kick. The main banqueting
room held the daily conference and 3 other rooms provided breakouts
for smaller meetings. Kick also provided production facilities
for the evenings entertainment. The production consisted of:
- 4 separate sound systems for the conference
- 1 Full Band/Disco system for evening entertainment
- 60ft set with integral screens
- AV support
- Staging
National Wedding Shows
Over consecutive weekends of 28th January and the weekend beginning
3rd February, Kick supplied production to the National Wedding
Show. Performances are daily over a weekend event which is held
in 3 venues across the country in late January.

Kick provide full production to North West Towns and cities
across the North West.
The conference production was supplied to Knowsley Chamber who
held their event at Knowsley Hall in late September
Michael Franti & Spearhead performed at Electica Festival 06
along with Oysterband, Ian McNabb and others.
Kick supplies entertainment production for this years Grand
National 2006. From the main Pavilion Room pictured below to
the reservation only - prestigious restaurants situated around
the course such as Simply Heathcoates.
Set, Sound & Lighting was provided as well as sound in breakout
rooms for a small number of delegates in Jan 06
